City Of Indio issued the following announcement on Dec. 22.
On Dec. 18, Caltrans gave project approval to the Interstate 10/Monroe St. interchange project.
With the project now being environmentally cleared, the next phase of preparing the construction plans, specifications and construction estimates will begin. Staff anticipates work will begin soon on preparing the plans and specifications in early 2021.
