California State Assemblymember Greg Wallis recently highlighted his engagement with local community events and public safety initiatives in a series of social media posts.
On February 24, 2026, Wallis shared his participation in a local awards event, stating, “This weekend, Dez and I joined friends and community members in Palm Springs for the Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards. Thank you to DAP Health, Desert Care Network, and everyone involved for putting together such a memorable night. It was a special evening celebrating my good”.
Continuing his outreach efforts, on February 25, 2026, Wallis posted about an emergency preparedness seminar: “Emergencies happen. Being prepared makes all the difference. Thank you to so many residents who joined us at the Cathedral City Senior Center for our Personal Emergency Preparedness Seminar. In partnership with the Coachella Valley Disaster Preparedness Network, we shared”.
Later that same day, he promoted an upcoming educational event aimed at protecting seniors from scams: “A phone call. A knock at the door. An email that looks real. Scams can happen in seconds, but prevention starts with awareness. Join Assemblymember Greg Wallis and the City of Yucaipa for a Senior Scam Awareness Seminar designed to help protect older adults from identity theft,”.
According to his official biography, Wallis is active in community activities throughout the Coachella Valley area and supports youth organizations as well as local events. He serves on legislative committees including Budget and Economic Development while focusing on policies related to education, public safety, water storage and energy reliability. Wallis also participates in bipartisan groups like the Problem Solvers Caucus to prioritize public interests over partisan divisions.
