Assemblymember Greg Wallis, who represents California’s 47th Assembly District, posted a series of updates on his social media account in late August 2025. His tweets covered topics ranging from pet owner advocacy to legislative progress on water security.
On August 26, Wallis commented on an issue affecting pet owners, stating, “This seems unnecessarily cruel to grieving pet owners, hope @chewy will do better going forward.”
Later that day, he marked National Dog Day with a personal message about his own pets. In the post dated August 26, he wrote: “Happy National Dog Day!

On August 29, Wallis provided a legislative update regarding water security for millions of Californians. He announced: “Capitol Update

Wallis has represented California’s 47th Assembly District since January 2023. The Colorado Aqueduct is a major source of drinking water for Southern California; legislation concerning its protection can impact nearly half the state’s population.
