Indio High School standout Richie Amavizca’s college team lost in NCAA Division II baseball game on Friday, April 11

On Friday, April 11, former Indio High School standout Richie Amavizca’s current college team, the New Mexico Highlands Cowboys, lost 16-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves.

The game took place at Brandt Field. This was their first matchup against the ThunderWolves this season.

The Cowboys’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 12 p.m. at Brandt Field against CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves.
