On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Palm Desert High School standout Jacob Mejia’s current college team, the Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes, won 27-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Central Washington Wildcats.

The game took place at Fiscalini Field. This was their third matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Coyotes’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. at Warrior Baseball Field against Stanislaus State Warriors.
