Rep. Ken Calvert, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 41st District since 1993, recently posted a series of tweets addressing health care policy and honoring fallen heroes.
On December 17, 2025, Calvert highlighted findings from a government report on health care subsidies, stating in his post: “A recent GAO report exposed the rampant fraud with ObamaCare/ACA subsidies:
$94 million sent to insurers for the DECEASED
68,000 Social Security numbers used by multiple people to cheat the system”.
Later that day, he paid tribute to individuals he described as heroes, writing: “We will never forget these heroes. May they rest in peace.” (December 17, 2025).
In another tweet posted on December 17, 2025, Calvert discussed legislative efforts aimed at reducing health care costs: “The Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act includes cost sharing reductions, expands access to Association Health Plans and provides more choices for employees to customize their health plans. Common-sense solutions to lower premium costs and expand access to care.”
Ken Calvert was born in Corona, California in 1953 and continues to reside there. He graduated from San Diego State University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
