Rep. Ken Calvert, a longtime U.S. Congressman representing California’s 41st District since 1993, posted a series of messages on his social media account in early April 2026 addressing state policy, military safety, and the Easter holiday.
On April 4, Calvert criticized state leadership for high fuel costs in California. He wrote, “Californians pay the highest gas prices in the nation because of the policies put in place by radical Democrats in Sacramento. Working families continue to suffer when they pay at the pump, yet Democrats do nothing to ease their pain.”
The following day, Calvert commented on the recovery of two crew members from a downed F-15 aircraft. On April 5 he stated, “I’m incredibly thankful both crew members of the downed F-15 have been safely recovered. Their safe return is the result of exhaustive training, tremendous capabilities, and the boundless bravery of our troops. We never leave an American behind! “
Later that same day, Calvert shared a holiday message with his followers: “He is risen! Wishing you and your family a day filled with joy, peace and happiness. Happy Easter!”
Ken Calvert was born in Corona, California in 1953 and continues to reside there at age 69. He graduated from San Diego State University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
