Rep. Ken Calvert, a longtime U.S. Congressman representing California’s 41st District since 1993, recently used his social media platform to address several issues affecting both his state and national policy.

On April 6, 2026, Calvert criticized California’s economic climate in a post stating, “California has the highest unemployment rate in the country. The only ones BETTING on California are hospice, health care, and homeless fraudsters looking to fleece taxpayers as Democrats look the other way.”

The following day, on April 7, 2026, Calvert commented on immigration enforcement by writing, “This is absolutely correct. The laws on the books are clear about who is legally present in our country and who is not. Our immigrant enforcement officers are enforcing the laws passed by Congress. That’s also what a majority of Americans voted for in 2024.”

On April 8, 2026, he highlighted federal support for local infrastructure projects: “The Quali Valley Septic-to-Sewer Project helps protect public and environmental health for communities in Menifee, Canyon Lake and Lake Elsinore. I secured $5 million in federal funding for the project in FY26, bringing the total amount I’ve secured up to $10 million. Today,”

Ken Calvert was born in Corona, California in 1953 and continues to reside there at age 69. He earned his BA from San Diego State University in 1975.
