Rep. Ken Calvert, who has represented California’s 41st District in the U.S. Congress since 1993, recently shared updates on legislative initiatives and constituent services through a series of posts on his official social media account.

On November 17, 2025, Calvert highlighted recent tax policy changes supported by President Trump and congressional Republicans, stating: “Thanks to President Trump and Republicans in Congress, Americans will be keeping more of the money they earned with:
No tax on tips
No tax on overtime
Expanded child tax credit – now $2,200/child
New $6,000 senior tax deduction”
.

Later that day, Calvert described a case involving a constituent from Murrieta: “Carlos from Murrieta had been waiting for months to receive the Soc. Sec. benefits he was entitled to. After my staff got involved, Carlos received his benefits in 3 weeks. If you live in the 41st District and need help with a federal agency contact my office at 951-277-0042.”

On November 18, 2025, Calvert addressed concerns about fuel prices in California and upcoming legislative action: “As California refining capacity shrinks, we’ve seen prices at the pump climb. It’s basic supply and demand. The House will vote this week on the REFINER Act to study opportunities to increase American refining capacity, thereby unleashing energy and lowering prices for consumers.”

Ken Calvert was born in Corona, California in 1953 and continues to reside there at age 69. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University (1975). As a long-serving member of Congress representing Riverside County communities such as Murrieta, Calvert frequently addresses both national policy issues and local constituent needs.
