Rep. Ken Calvert, a long-serving U.S. Congressman representing California’s 41st District since 1993, has used his social media platform to reiterate his positions on border security, crime, and state energy policies.

On May 6, 2026, Calvert posted: “My record is clear – I’ve fought to end illegal immigration, secure the border, and stop deadly drugs from entering our country.”

Later that day, he thanked law enforcement officials and criticized California politicians in another post: “Thank you, @USAttyEssayli, and all federal and local law enforcement agencies! Liberal California politicians have turned a blind eye to crime and open-air drug markets for far too long. I’m thankful for President Trump making it a priority to take back our communities.”

On May 7, Calvert addressed state energy policy decisions: “The decisions made by radical liberals in Sacramento have made California more dependent on foreign sources of oil. Even worse, they’ve slapped the highest taxes in the nation on drivers every time they fill their tank. My resolution calls out these unaffordable policies.”

Ken Calvert was born in Corona, California in 1953 and continues to reside there at age 69. He graduated from San Diego State University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
