Rep. Ken Calvert, a longtime U.S. Congressman representing California’s 41st District since 1993, recently used his social media platform to express support for federal efforts against fraud, advocate for small businesses, and honor American veterans.
On May 7, 2026, Calvert posted on X: “President Trump, @JDVance, @TheJusticeDept, and @USAttyEssayli are taking action every day to stop fraud and hold criminals accountable for stealing from hard-working taxpayers. I’m proud to support them and make sure they have the tools necessary to protect taxpayers.”
The following day, May 8, he emphasized the importance of small businesses in the U.S. economy: “Small business throughout our country keep our local economies moving. That’s why I’ve always worked to cut taxes and eliminate job-killing regulations. If we get government out of the way, these local job creators can survive and flourish.”
Later that same day, Calvert reflected on the sacrifices made by American service members: “Brave Americans fought bravely on distant beaches and cities to stop tyrannical evil and defend liberty. We remember those who served, sacrificed, and secured freedom for future generations.”
Ken Calvert was born in Corona, California in 1953 and continues to reside there at age 69. He graduated from San Diego State University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
