La Quinta High School standout Kassidy Munoz’s college team lost in NCAA Division I softball game on Friday, Feb. 7

On Friday, Feb. 7, former La Quinta High School standout Kassidy Munoz’s current college team, the Southern Utah Thunderbirds, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UNLV Rebels.

The game took place at Eller Media Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Rebels this season.

The Thunderbirds’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 12 p.m. at Eller Media Stadium against UNLV Rebels.
