On Friday, Feb. 14, former Xavier College Preparatory High School standout Andrew Wente’s current college team, the La Verne Leopards, won 13-6 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the ETBU Tigers.
The game took place at Ben Hines Field. This was their sixth matchup against the Tigers this season.
The Leopards’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 11 a.m. at Huston Sports Complex against Lewis & Clark Pioneers.
