On Saturday, Feb. 1, former La Quinta High School standout Lauren Mauer’s current college team, the Western Oregon Wolves, lost 11-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Cal State San Marcos Cougars.
The game took place at OC Great Park. This was their first matchup against the Cougars this season.
The Wolves’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 12 p.m. at Toro Diamond against Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros.
