On Thursday, Feb. 27, former La Quinta High School standout Lauren Mauer’s current college team, the Western Oregon Wolves, lost 9-7 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Concordia Golden Bears.
The game took place at Legends Way Ballfields. This was their first matchup against the Golden Bears this season.
The Wolves’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 12:30 p.m. at Legends Way Ballfields against Grand Valley State Lakers.
