Cathedral City home prices rise in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Cathedral City rose by $24,500 while total sales decreased by 41.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were 102 homes sold, with a median sale price of $329,500 - a 8% increase over the $305,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 175 homes sold in Cathedral City in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Cathedral City for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,058, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2019.
