Coachella home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Coachella fell by $12,000 while total sales decreased by 12.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 43 homes sold, with a median sale price of $240,000 - a 4.8% decrease over the $252,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 49 homes sold in Coachella in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Coachella for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,148, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
