Rancho Mirage home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Rancho Mirage fell by $11,000 while total sales decreased by 10.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 159 homes sold, with a median sale price of $489,000 - a 2.2% decrease over the $500,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 177 homes sold in Rancho Mirage in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Rancho Mirage for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,817, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
