Desert Hot Springs home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Desert Hot Springs rose by $22,500 while total sales decreased by 75.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 88 homes sold, with a median sale price of $232,500 - a 10.7% increase over the $210,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 359 homes sold in Desert Hot Springs in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Desert Hot Springs for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,234, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
