Indio home prices fall in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Indio fell by $4,750 while total sales decreased by 69.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 183 homes sold, with a median sale price of $318,500 - a 1.5% decrease over the $323,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 604 homes sold in Indio in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Indio for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,862, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
