Palm Springs Police Department issued the following announcement on Oct. 23.
The Palm Springs Police Department is committed to ensuring our Voting Center locations are safe, and free from intimidation, bribery and other violations that would interfere with an individual's voting right.
Attached, please find an infographic with just a few of the laws that you should be aware of.
Please report any suspicious behavior or violation you may witness while at a polling center to the Palm Springs Police Department right away. Officers will investigate violations when reported.
The Palm Springs Police Department has placed close patrols on each of the voting centers until the end of election day. Should you have any concerns please call our non-emergency line at 760-327-1441, and in the event of an emergency call 911.
