Desert Hot Springs home prices rise in the third quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2020 in Desert Hot Springs rose by $17,500 while total sales increased by 56.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2020, there were 138 homes sold, with a median sale price of $250,000 - a 7.5% increase over the $232,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 88 homes sold in Desert Hot Springs in the third quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Desert Hot Springs for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,234, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2020.
