Cathedral City home prices rise in the third quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2020 in Cathedral City rose by $36,500 while total sales increased by 48%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2020, there were 151 homes sold, with a median sale price of $366,000 - a 11.1% increase over the $329,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 102 homes sold in Cathedral City in the third quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Cathedral City for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,061, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2020.
