Falling home prices in Mecca in the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Mecca fell by $35,000 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $140,000 - a 20% decrease over the $175,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Mecca in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Mecca for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,684, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
