Rising home prices in La Quinta in the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in La Quinta rose by $89,000 while total sales increased by 296.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 745 homes sold, with a median sale price of $510,000 - a 21.1% increase over the $421,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 188 homes sold in La Quinta in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in La Quinta for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,857, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
