What happened to the median home price in Indio during the fourth quarter of 2019?

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Indio rose by $10,500 while total sales decreased by 11.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 269 homes sold, with a median sale price of $335,000 - a 3.2% increase over the $324,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 304 homes sold in Indio in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Indio for 2019 was $3,478. In 2018, the median sales tax was $3,322. This marks an increase of 4.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1%.
