November 2019: Desert Hot Springs experienced a 9.3% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2019 in Desert Hot Springs rose by $19,500 while total sales increased by 23.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2019, there were 64 homes sold, with a median sale price of $229,500 - a 9.3% increase over the $210,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 52 homes sold in Desert Hot Springs in November 2018.

The median sales tax in Desert Hot Springs for 2019 was $2,628. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,484. This marks an increase of 5.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
