Dogpark

City of Palm Springs issued the following announcement on Nov. 6.

The Palm Springs Dog Park behind City Hall will close beginning Thursday, Nov. 12 for annual overseeding and maintenance – and will re-open again to the public on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020. In the meantime, a temporary large dog park will be available at Demuth Park, 4200 E. Mesquite Ave.

The park in Demuth will be open seven days a week from daybreak until dusk. “The City of Palm Springs and our Parks and Recreation Commission are pleased to once again provide a secure dog park at Demuth while needed maintenance and overseeding is performed at our widely used dog park behind City Hall,” said Cynthia Crawford-Alvarado, Director of Parks and Recreation. “We thank Palm Springs residents for their patience.”
