The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Raul Ruiz, Dr. Raul Ruiz for Congress, refunded $1,000 to Vincent Battaglia on June 10, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Dr. Raul Ruiz for Congress has refunded $4,576 total since Jan. 1.
